On Aug 30th, 2026, Drishti Foundation is organizing a 5K Run or 1 Mile walk at Wilson Farm Park, Wayne, PA[Tot Pavillion] to support blind and visually impaired. Drishti is founded and run by High School and Middle School students who believe in Kathy Calvin's words, “Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference”. This foundation aims at instilling a sense of giving in children and adults alike. Since its inception, Drishti has organized fundraisers for causes such as Cataract surgeries for the underprivileged, scholarships for the blind, and medical care for visually impaired children. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Drishti has raised funds and sent medical equipment to impacted communities including schools for the handicapped. Some of the organizations that Drishti volunteers have worked with include Chester County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Royer- Greaves School for the Blind, Vision Corps, American Council for the Blind, Children’s Eye Foundation, Overbrook School for the Blind, and the Society for the Blind.
